Nicole Appenzeller
cLEAN cITIES CO-DIRECTOR
Nicole Appenzeller is the Co-Director for the San Francisco Clean Cities and Communities Coalition and has been active in the coalition since 2022. Nicole is a Senior Clean Transportation Specialist at the San Francisco Environment Department where she works on developing and implementing clean transportation programs and policies. Her background includes over 10 years of experience in designing, managing, and improving clean transportation programs with a specialty in statewide incentive programs. Nicole is passionate about community-centric planning and delivering solutions that support all communities, ensuring none are left behind in the transition to electrify transportation.
Anna Sciaruto
CLEAN CITIES CO-DIRECTOR
Anna Sciaruto is the Co-Director for the San Francisco Clean Cities and Communities Coalition. Anna works as a Clean Transportation Specialist at the San Francisco Environment Department where she administers zero-emission transportation programs. Currently, she is overseeing the implementation of a first of its kind e-bike pilot program for app-based delivery workers. Prior to her role at the San Francisco Environment Department, Anna managed energy policy at the Bay Area Council.
Skyler Seamons
CLEAN CITIES Intern
Skyler is a second-year graduate student at the University of San Francisco, getting her Master of Science in Environmental Management. She completed her undergraduate degree at UCLA, majoring in Environmental Science with a concentration in Environmental Systems and Society. She has work experience in sustainability consulting. She is assisting with the e-bike pilot program and other Clean Cities and Communities deliverables.
